On 19^th January, 2024, His Excellency H.E. President William Samoei Ruto commissioned the much-awaited Kiptogot-Kolongolo Water Supply Project in Trans-Nzoia County. A project meant to supply water to residents of Endebess, Kwanza and Mowlem in the County.

Speaking during the meeting, the president appreciated the works done and completion within timelines and assured the residents of a Last Mile Connectivity to ensure that there is enough water in every household around the area.

The Kiptogot- Kolongolo Water Supply Project scope of work includes Mubiru Water Supply System and Kaptega Water Supply System

The project will benefit residents of Endebess and Kwanza Sub-Counties in Trans-Nzoia County. It will also Provide water by the year 2030 with an output 16,000m³/day to a projected population of 240,000 people in the service area (Endebess, Chepchoina, Kapomboi, Kwanza and Keiyo wards in Endebess and Kwanza Sub Counties
