Dr. Njage Makanga, PhD, CBS, is a seasoned banker, finance practitioner, business management consultant, and strategic leader with over 35 years of experience in banking and finance and more than 15 years of experience in business management consultancy.

He holds a PhD in Strategic Management and Leadership, as well as two Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, both attained with Distinction. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Dr. Makanga previously served in the Board of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya and is the Team Leader at Universal Trends Group, where he provides strategic leadership and business management expertise.

In recognition of his distinguished service and contribution to the nation, Dr. Makanga was conferred the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS). His extensive experience in finance, strategic management, leadership, and corporate governance brings valuable expertise to his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
